About Me: Meet the Owner of Tattoo Enthusiast.com

Why I created Tattoo-Enthusiast.com

Many people asked me why I started the
Tattoo-Enthusiast.com website. One main
reason is I love getting "inked", and I
have a passion for the art of tattooing.
I used to spend hours on the internet
looking for tattoo designs, tattoo ideas,
and tattoo information, but came up with
little or no ideas, pictures,or information.
So after much frustration I created the
Tattoo-Enthusiast site. I am a regular
person just like you who wanted tattoo
information that is easy to find with easy
website navigation.

How I Started Tattoo-Enthusiast com
I thought I had to be a computer expert to have my own site, and after some research I found out how easy it was. I chose Site Build It(SBI) because I did not have to be an expert, and I loved the step by step instructions and support from SBI. My site was up and running in a matter of days.

About Me

I got my first tattoo in 1993 at Red Dragon Tattoo in Richmond, VA, after that I was "hooked", but I did not want to get just anything on my body. We moved to NC in 1996, and was a while before I got my next tattoo. After much searching I found a great artist right around the corner from my house and he has been my artist since then. His name is Greg Martin with King Pin Tattoo in Greensboro, NC, and the artwork you see on this page was all done by Greg, and my son also got his first "tat" by him.

Most of my work is inspired by my service in the military. I am a Desert Storm veteran and served in the United States Air Force. I am proud of my service to my country, and support our troops who serve proudly to give us the freedoms we still enjoy today. I honor the sacrifice of those men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. My POW/MIA tattoo is in honor of those men and women who were/are Prisoner's of War, and those families whose Father's, Mother's, Son's, Daughters, Brother's, and Sister's who are Missing in Action and never returned home from war.

THANK YOU!

My next tattoo will be in honor of my daughter who passed away over 12 years ago. It has taken me a long time to finally think about getting the tattoo in honor of her because it is so emotional for me. For those who have lost someone dear to you and have inked your body with their memory know exactly what I mean.

I enjoy Heavy Metal Music(Hint: video's on the site),and my favorite band is Black Label Society. I also love spending time with my family. My oldest son is in college studying to be a Broadcast Journalist and works on the graphics on this site. My youngest son wants to be a tattoo artist when he grows up (wonder why?). I also enjoy sports like hockey, football, and NASCAR.

I want to personally thank you for your support of Tattoo-Enthusiast.com, and hope you enjoy the site. Don't forget to take the site survey and give us your feedback.
