Words of Advice: Making Auction Purchases Safely and Securely
Some words of advice before making and finalizing your purchase, know exactly what you are buying, research seller information, and understand how eBay and PayPal protect you.
1. Tattoo-Enthusiast Auctions: Know What You're Buying and Total Cost
• Read the product details carefully in the item description. "No Description, No Purchase"
• Dont forget to include shipping charges with the "item won" price. (Shipping cost differ depending on your buyer/seller location)
• Make sure the seller offers shipping insurance on high priced items.
• Use the "ASK SELLER" link in their profile to ask questions about the product or the seller.
• Make sure pictures are listed on the auction, and you get all your questions answered before you purchase.
• Complete purchase on eBay by bidding, Buy It Now, or Best Offer. EBay does not protect transactions not completed on eBay.
• Avoid paying by MoneyGram or Western Union.
2. Tattoo-Enthusiast Auctions: Research Seller
• Research the seller of the item, which will make you confident in your purchase.
• Seller's Feedback Rating is important (as close to 100% as possible)
• Number of seller transactions. A low number is not always negative because they could be a new seller, but it could be a warning sign
• How many positive (+) responses has the seller received, comapred to negative (-) responses.
• What are previous buyers saying about the seller, (i.e. A++, Excellent transaction, fast turnaround, etc...)
• Are there specials conditions related to the purchase?
• Does the seller have a return policy or money-back guarantee?

• If you have problems during your transcation contact eBay and/or PayPal. They will be there to help you
• Use PayPal to purchse your merchandise whenever possible: With PayPal the seller never sees your bank account or credit card information.
• PayPal offer 100% buyer protection on fraudulent payments from buyers accounts.(up to $1,000)
